PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY
Photography is permitted throughout the park during our seasonal events and tours but is strictly prohibited during non-operational hours without prior-permission and approval from managerial staff. Photography and Videography inside the Haunts/Scare Houses and during the live theatre shows and indoor performances is also strictly prohibited.
DRONES
Per FAA regulations, recreational and commercial drones will not be flown over our private property without prior permission. Those found to be in violation of this rule will be considered trespassing.

OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINK
We offer a variety of food options at all food service locations and concession stands. However, we understand that guests may need to bring outside food and drinks. Please note the following guidelines:
WATER BOTTLE POLICY:
(All water bottles are subject to inspection)
- One sealed plastic water bottle per person – Max size 2 liters.
- One clear/see-through empty plastic personal water bottle per person – Max size 2 liters.
- All guests with personal water bottles will be asked to empty the contents of the water bottle upon entry and exit of the park.
FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY:
(All food and beverage items are subject to inspection)
Please see security at the time of entry for a medical approval tag.
- Any food or beverages needed for medical, nutritional, and dietary needs.
- Special items needed for medical purposes
- Baby food and baby formula – all baby supply tote bags are subject to inspection.
- A small kids’ personal bagged snack, limited to 2 per group.
SMOKING
Old Tucson is smoke-free, so smoking is permitted in designated areas only. All methods of smoking must be consumed in this location. (Cigarettes, Cigars, ECigs, Vapes, etc.). For designated smoking locations, please refer to park signs or the park map, or ask a park employee for directions.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are prohibited, and not allowed inside Old Tucson:
- Outside food
- Alcohol
- Marijuana or Marijuana based products
- Glass containers
- Open containers
- Coolers of any size

We strive to make OLD TUCSON a fun and safe experience for all of our guests. To ensure the safety of our guests and staff, the following rules must be followed at all times when at OLD TUCSON. Possession of any of the following items, or engaging in any of the following behaviors, can result in immediate removal from the property or prosecution under local law:
NO: Bags or Purses (Clear Bags Only, See Following FAQ) | Outside Food or Beverage (Please refer to the Food & Beverage policy above) | Smoking (Including Cannabis and Vaping) | Animals (Including Emotional Support Animals) | Weapons (Including Guns, Knives, etc.) | No Spikes or Chains. Abusive Language | Gang Colors | Fighting | Loitering | Refunds | Rainchecks | Re-Entry.
OLD TUCSON uses metal detectors and guests may be subjected to a search on entry, or at any time, to determine the possession of prohibited items. Old Tucson will prosecute any person who is under the influence of an illegal substance, fighting, stealing, or behaving in a lewd or lascivious manner to the full extent of the law. OLD TUCSON reserves the right to refuse admission and/or service to any guest for any reason.
For the safety of our guests and staff, OLD TUCSON has instituted a clear bag policy. The policy limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the park. The following is a list of bags that will be accepted for entry:
Bags that are clear plastic or vinyl and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.”
One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar).
Small clutch bags (approximately the size of a hand) after being searched.
Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection, including but not limited to oxygen tanks, diabetes kits, allergy pens, etc.
Prohibited bags may not be placed in a clear bag in order to gain entry. Personal items may be enclosed in a small clutch bag, approximately the size of a hand. These small bags will be searched.
Only trained service animals are permitted on property, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Arizona law. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted in the park. Some rides and attractions may have restrictions on Service Animal. Currently, Old Tucson does not provide kennel services. For the health and safety of your pet, do not leave them in your car for any length of time while visiting the park. The weather in Arizona can reach high temperatures very quickly. Old Tucson will report to PIMA County Animal Services any pets or animals left in a car.
OLD TUCSON will continue to operate in various weather conditions including rain. Some attractions may be temporarily unavailable due to inclement weather.
If conditions such as lightning or flash flooding occur, OLD TUCSON events and attractions may be delayed or temporarily closed. If event dates are canceled due to weather, all guests on affected dates/times will receive an option to attend on a later date (based on space availability) or a full refund.
Yes, a number of restrooms are available for guests throughout the property. Please ask a staff member to direct you to the nearest location.

The wellbeing of guests and staff is our highest priority during your experience with us. Planning ahead can help enhance your enjoyment and keep your party as safe as possible. Please follow these tips before and during your adventure:
- Closed shoe toes are strongly recommended. Sturdy, comfortable footwear will help keep you safe and comfortable throughout the day.
- Areas of the property contain uneven surfaces so please exercise caution. Alert staff if a member of your party requires assistance with mobility issues, accessibility, or first aid.
- Weather conditions can change unexpectedly so please monitor forecasts closely and bring appropriate clothing layers.
- Sunscreen and sunglasses help protect from UV rays, especially at high altitude and during summer months.
- Don’t wait to hydrate. It’s a good idea to drink at least 4-6 ounces of water every 15 to 20 minutes. This is especially important during hot weather and at high altitude.
- Feeling sick? Please be considerate of other guests and staff if you’re not feeling well. Rebooking options may be available, so please consider joining us another time if you are feeling ill.
